Caricatures hire artist like to have to the person being drawn to look like the person, not having the person running for cover after they see the caricature. Simply, my caricatures are commercial, with a cheeky cute look about them, so I get told. I have different styles to suit all events large and small, so ask me if you want the super speed caricatures, these are best suited for large events, or more detailed standard caricatures, all suit different events.
Speed caricatures do have less detail and have no grey wash in them and are best suited for large events, standard caricatures are better quality.
I take pride with the quality of my cartoons, but you need to take into account, do you want to give everyone at your event a caricature, and have half of them say it don't resemble them, or do you want a little more attention to detail to satisfy most of your customers/clients. Quality is best overall but we need to discuss your event in terms of what caricature style  medium will suit your event. Standard caricatures are still the best for all events.
But if you want people to continue talking about their caricature gifts the next day, I pride myself on quality, and every event is different ask me what style of digital colour caricatures or pen on paper caricatures will suit your event. Most good cartoonist around will strive to get a balance.

Both forms of caricatures are fine, it comes down to preference and my fees, digital caricatures will cost more to hire,
due to set up, emailing and printing the digital caricatures, digital caricatures can be detailed colour, or a simple colour wash
to black and white caricatures, there is not much of a difference between digital or marker caricatures, some still prefer the markers.
Caricatures on board are drawn on high quality copy paper 200 gsm so they last the test of time.
Digital caricatures I turn up with my own printer, if you want the caricatures displayed on a screen you need to provide this.
Both forms of caricatures are fitted into plastic sleeves for protection, ask for head to chest or full body caricatures. 
What style a caricature ipad caricatures or markers!
Here is a guide to help you choose your style of caricature-
Speed caricatures have lss detail and are drawn with markers and have no grey wash effect in them and I use less pens allowing for a quicker caricature. 
Standard caricatures are the most popular and have a grey wash over the caricature with a variety of markers to get the best result for the caricature.
Ipad caricatures are drawn digitally in colour and can be emailed/printed air dropped displayed on screens, digital caricatures will cost more to hire.
Choosing depends on what you prefer, but as a guide standard markers are still the favourite either speed or standard both are quicker than the ipad.
Speed caricatures are suited to large events, ipad caricatures have the advantage of a few mediums on the screen/emailed/printed in colour at the venue,  ipad caricatures will cost you more and will take longer to complete, plus with the set up required, so take all this into account when you decide.
Sepia caricatures are new and look fantastic done live, but they will take around 10-12 mins so best for selective events.
How many caricatures can you do in a hour?
I can do speed caricatures in 2-3 mins each one or spend 5-6 min on each caricature, drawing standard caricatures with markers and the ipad pro
but you need to tell me about your event and then we can discuss what style of caricatures will suit you. All events are different remember this.
How long with I need to hire a cartoonist.
Most events you need three hours depending on your number you might need longer or even another cartoonist, which I can organise for,
